LOOK AGAIN

This exhibition began with me looking back at paintings I had put away and almost forgot about.
I wondered what might happen if I looked at them again, with fresh eyes and no particular plan.
Some have been painted over, scraped back, layered with colour and marks, while others have taken a completely new direction. The old paintings became starting points for something new.
Look Again
is an invitation to do just that. To look twice, to notice what you might have missed, and to see where a painting can take you when you give it another chance.
